I don't know how many of you have tried to sell stuff on craigslist before. For those who haven't it can be a real PITA dealing with some absolute dumbasses. So I feel for this guy

swimming108 12-30-2007 01:44 PM

wow i feel for the guy too.

I am just not too sure how many he is going to sell like that though

cjernigan 12-30-2007 01:50 PM

That's great. The threat of being added to the man boy love association mailing list is bad enough.

Mach929 12-30-2007 01:54 PM

haha makes me want to email him and ask if he'll help me with a new foundation

Braineack 12-30-2007 01:59 PM

that's awesome! I feel like that 99% of the time.

paul 12-30-2007 06:35 PM

compy 12-30-2007 06:40 PM

I wonder how many people emailed him just because he said not to?

miatamania 12-30-2007 06:43 PM

lol...poor dude. CR is frustrating...

Funny shit though.

samnavy 12-30-2007 06:48 PM

I like that guy... still Craigslist FTW normally.

Braineack 12-30-2007 07:14 PM

being a richmond ad, i can only imaging the amount of hippies and homeless people calling him.

Saml01 12-30-2007 07:35 PM

He should be posting that advertisement in a region with high quantity of auto theft.

miatamania 12-30-2007 08:31 PM

DC ftw?

thebeerbaron 12-30-2007 09:17 PM

when i moved recently, i had to get rid of a bunch of stuff, put it on CL. the most emails i got were on the free stuff, and you wouldn't believe the idiocracy of it all.

some people will look a gift horse in the mouth and ask you for a warantee.

miataz 12-30-2007 09:27 PM

lmao someone email him asking how many blocks you would need to make a garage, or someshit, but make a different email address so he doesnt fuck your email address up, and then get his and spam it haha

LOL...no shit.

My favorite CL experience was selling a $400 professional series printer...since I didnt need it I thought I'd give somebody a deal at $25, the cartridges in it alone were $120. Some ignorant lowballing fuck offered me $10. I told him I'd rather smash it with a sledgehammer and shove the jagged pieces up his mom's ass.

my dad did the same with a lawnmower. he can't really do it anymore and uses a service. he put it in the washington post for $25, the guy that sells the ad space came and bought it that day....he still paid for the ad and had to deal with all the calls that week. :bang:
