I am sorry masters. I will do better next time. That previa had a 2TZ-FZE, RWD and mid engined, but 4000lbs and 160hp, from Wiki,

The mid-engine design proved to have a significant limitation—the inability to incorporate larger engine sizes, which proved a problem as American drivers were used to having more power; the Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler models were sold with available V6 engines with slightly more power.

Starting with the 1994 model year, Toyota attempted to rectify engine performance by fitting a Roots-type supercharger with air-to-air intercooler, providing six psi of boost (these models were called the "S/C"), bringing the engine power up to a competitive 158 hp (118 kW) and increasing fuel mileage from 17 to 23 mpg‑US (14 to 10 L/100 km). Initially, the S/C engine was only available as an option on the LE for the 1994 model year and all models for 1995.

Have you looked at current/modern minivan weights?
4000lb is actually considered really light. The new pacifica has a ton of aluminum parts (like aluminum sliding doors, which is pretty baller), and comes in at like 4200-4300.

Fully loaded Sienna comes in at mid-high 4000's.

Don't ask me how I know any of this

I knew current ones were quite heavy, but the previa is from the early-mid 90's and I thought they'd be mid-3000's. Wow.

Back in the day it was acceptable to just spray asphalt on the interior sheet metal as sound deadening. It was cheap so they used lots of it. True story. Go look at the curb weights for things things like the Aerostar and Lumina APV. <shudder>

The Aerostar was a pig; heavy and under-powered. But man, I put a hell of a lot of fully laden, cross-country miles on that sucker and it never let me down. Just carry a milk crate full of all the used oil you've drained out of every thing else you drive, and remember to top up at each rest stop.

I kinda miss the green weenie...

We had the extended length one for years when I was growing up. 94 model I think (it was blue). Drove all over the place in that thing, and it was a tank. I believe my parents bought it with about 40k miles and sold it with 220k, still running like a champ. It was a great vehicle for our family. A lot of my early time behind the wheel was in that behemoth. Good times!

Food banks usually have very limited freezer space, and most times won't take perishables.

The day my company decided to do a "community service/team builder day", we worked at a food pantry. Many of their customers eat better than us paying folks.

I'm going to have to take a bath on BRZ to ditch it, or just keep driving it which I don't want to do either.
