boy did that guy have it coming to him. A stingray stung him through the heart. way to go retard now you've left a widow and a small child behind

Loki047 09-04-2006 12:23 PM

Yeah pretty dumb stuff, althought i never thought of sting rays as being able to pucture someone chest. But he was an expert he should have known better (unless it was a freak accident). In which case god has a great sense of humor.

Dude I would be pissed. A FUCKING sting ray! Thoes things are pussies. It should have been something cool like a duckbillplatapuss.

If you read the news then you'll see that the stingray had barried itself under the sand. He didn't know it was there and when it came out it acted defensively. To say that he had it coming to him is the most ignorant remark I've heard on this forum today. The man grew up around reptiles and all sorts of animals. He was an expert in his field, and did an amazing job of making the world more interested in animals and wildlife. I think you could show a little more respect for someone when they die. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you obituary so that I can stop by and piss on your grave (read: analogy).

I heard this on the radio this morning...i was pretty distraught about it for the rest of the day. this guy was awesome and brought lots of knowledge to young and old minds alike, he tought us a world we never knew about

Mechazawa 09-04-2006 08:59 PM

I think the world will miss him.

just because you're an expert doesn't mean you're not doing something really fucking dumb. there's tons of experts out there. People who work in zoos get hurt by animals they've worked with for years. This guys was running around in the wild and grabbing/wrestling wild animals. expert or not it's just plain stupid, certainly not something you should be doing when you have a small child at home. now the kid has to grow up without a dad. And yes, now he's taught us another valuable lesson about animals, leave em the fuck alone if they can kill your ass.

Crickey.

I can't say I found him entertaining in the least, he was sort of the Jackass of the animal world. But I'll give him credit, he died doing what he loved. We should all be so lucky.

He didn't see it. Stingray venom isn't even fatal. But the damn thing stabbed him straight into his heart!

nicacus 09-05-2006 11:17 AM
