yeah if you have an NB you aren't going to gain much if anything from different top hats. I wouldn't do the isc route personally.

So why would you ask if he was going FCM tophats which ARE essentially NB tophats?

I heard nothing but good things about them, they have a good feedback on ebay, and I called them and talked to them, the lady (Pam I think) was very nice and informative.

I went with the vynil, glass window, no defroster, no-zip black top. The price was 240 + 40 for shipping, so 280 shipped. For the one I got, that is the cheapest I could find out of the reputable companies out there.

I should receive it by next week, cant wait
WOOOHOOOO!!!

If I ever saw a miata for $2500, especially an NB, I would break down and cry with joy, then buy it.

update: suspension is in, and temporary rims/tires are on. They are temporary because they are huge and heavy, and not really my style. I had them laying around from Wife's civic, which they were way too big for as well.

On to the pictures:

Ya thats right: I roll deep

The car rides great on the kyb/fm though I had it on setting 1 for my fat *** to roll around town. Ill start with the settings later when I can actually have time to feel the car out and see which setting I like best. With the stock rims/tires the car handles great and is almost as soft as stock. Unfortunately they are shitty: rears are bald and one of the front ones is bent, so the 17's will have to hold me over for a few weeks till I find some nice 15's.

Thats all for this week. Next week hopefully top and other stuff will come in and Ill have more updates

Ok, today I cleaned up the car a bit more and clay bar'd it. Imho it is still a bit dull but MUCH better than before. Wanted to buff it, but couldnt find a fitting for the buffer-to-pad and have to buy one now.

Couple more pics taken with my shitty cameara:

As you can see, the rims are ginormous on this car, and rub a bit. Looking for rims now, hopefully not for too long.

Well that kudos to you enough right there, you were able to get the gorilla tight factory bolts out to change the seats.

small update:

got this

last week and just finished installing it, because my car had no radio. It works great, very nice, and best part: lights up JUST like the stock lights and looks oem'ish....
Ill snap some shots of it in the car tomorrow.

Also changed engine oil and tranny fluid with royal purple. After filling the shifter turret with some (it was almost empty) the shifts became alot smoother and less noise. my dad made a thick *** ruber shifter cover thingy in place of the stock torn one, and there is a lot less noise in the car now. Davezhouse top was supposed to come today but ups is being slow, so ill have it tomorrow.

Been hunting around like mad for some 15's or 16's, so far no luck.
