Cruisin Music

Just curious what everyone likes to crank up when they are cruising..

My girlfriend thinks it is hilarious to blare songs like that I'm a bitch I'm a mother I'm a saint"
just to see how people look at us... :vash:
she also made me a copy of an 80's music cd with some pretty :greddy: :gay: music on it that she loves to blare and rock out to while we are at a light...

anyone else have this problem? I think she is hinting that she wants me to get a new car.. :td:

I crank up the rpms. No radio, antenna or speakers... still have the wiring, so I'm not 100% hardcore yet.

Depending on my mood I usually listen to As I Lay Dying, to freak out the norms or I leave the radio off..

Depends on what the mood is... and who's in the car... the pioneer FH-5000MP MP3 works great with the deck and speakers.... <G> Everything from trance, gino beats, U2, older metal, etc.... <G> Just need to get the ipod adapter from pioneer so I can plug the SOs ipod in on a regular basis....

Now if I could just find a few more tracks. Ah newsgroups are a wonderful thing.... <G>

Speaking of which, does anybody have this one? Paul Oakenfold, Ready, steady, go.... <G> EDIT: Found the thing today of all times, like 5 mins after I posted. <G>

I dont get why people use IPOD adapters... my stereo has RCA inputs... so i got a cord from radiosshack that has a standard 1/8" (headphone jack) to the two RCA jacks... now I can plug anything with a headphone jack in and listen to it... and it was probably alot cheaper than an IPOD connection. (like 3 bucks)

I find I cruise around a lot listening to NIN, Rob Zombie and the Pixies. I want Trent Reznor to father my next child. :)

iPod is the only way to fly. I just wish my older Alpine HU had the integrated iPod interface, would be cool to control it from the HU.

RCAs are good... but the one issue with that is that you have to control everything on the player.... More versatile... yes....

But with the ipod connectors (the ones to decks) you can control everything on the deck, kinda nice.... not important, but kinda nice anyway. <G>

Dave,

thats true... I didnt know you could control them from the deck.. I thought it was just an audio output..
but that takes all the fun out of playing "find the MP3 player after the turn, cause this song is lame"
