That's what he gets for not using a PC-Pro intercooler on his processor.

He would never use something more efficient when he can use multiple devices to accomplish the same task.

Following from the link above some surrounding current threads there:

Ben91, who promotes the Megasquirt so heavily, says over and over that a full ECU is the ONLY way to go. Piggybacks just don't hack it. Then, when someone mentions OBD2 and CARB, the answer is (Paraphrased) 'well, you can use the MS in piggyback mode'.
Dumb or playing dumb?? Does he really think that Megasquirt in "piggyback" mode just extends the stock ECU injector pulses and thus praying on the stock ECU not to pull off some strange case? That stuff he posts just reveals how much he knows about cars and engine control modules or either posted on purpose and very misleading ...

I think there is more. IIRC some months ago Tom posted that he found the stock 1.6 AFM being quite restrictive for the MP62 kit. IIRC then had some posts about they retrofitted a RX-7 AFM or something (going here just by memory)
And today his test monkey (he called himself that) whose car was going to the dyno posted this:

I think he's just straight up dumb.

I would never trust a guy to work, tune or install anything on my car if I knew his background was playing with yo-yo's.

Tom's grammar and spelling bother me... not to say I'm perfect, but I'd expect someone hocking a product that should require some knowledge to understand, would be a better typist...

LOL. And he made some comment on my spelling in that "wheel torque" thread in a typical thread drift manner of his. Me, whose English is not first language (third if I have to count) ...

Following that link above to the surrounding new threads at the FFS board. A post there from couple of hours ago about mnet:

Time passes (2 hours?), then post #5:

So, looks like mnet got fixed to comply with his standards in 2 hours ...

What is he doing at mnet now if according to his board it's probably the worst place on Earth ...

Smartphone? hahahaha Atleast that's what they call it.. I consider them phones with cool abilities. Then again I don't know how many palms get online. Haven't used one since high school and back then they didn't get on the net.

I <3 my Blackberry Curve. Us Blackberry users call em crackberries. I'd say only difference between a pda and blackberry is the fact that the BB can make phone calls, browse the internet... Cooler things, in general.

M515 here. Read ebooks on it.

The SD card slot is nice.

I would upgrade to a TX, but my ultraportable laptop is good enough for me. I just use the palm on shuttle buses and such, when the laptop is an inconvenience.

For the record, I have absoultely NO PROBLEM with a PC-Pro controller, it seems like it would be very effective when used correctly. Just like the voodoo box. I'm just absolutely not confident (and I think the data supports this) that the PC-P should never be used on miatas making over 160-170 whp-depending on injector size.
