Daily Driver Brake Rotors

I'm getting to where I need new pads on my RSX. The rotors are warped a little and vibrate when braking so I'm going to swap them out as well. I'm going to get some good street pads, but I'm curious to hear opinions on rotors.

For street driving, is there any benefit to an expensive rotor vs a cheap rotor? Do good rotors last longer? Resist warping? Reduce stopping distance? I would've just asked on a honda forum, but figured you guys would probably be a more reliable source.

I run cheap aftermarket rotors on my track Miata with Hawk racing pads without cracking. I wouldn't worry about them on a street car.

Thanks. I seemed to remember hearing that before but didn't want to buy something I'd be replacing again in a month.

Centric blanks go on every car I own, racecar or otherwise.

I've seen the bottom of the barrel AutoZone stuff wear out prematurely on Civics and other econobox type cars but I doubt anybody sells anything that crappy for an RSX, +1 for Centric brakes though. I currently have stoptech drilled and slotted on the STO that I daily but only because they were on sale at RockAuto for less than anything else, no idea how that worked out but they look pretty.

This.

I run the "premiums" on cars i give a shit about, but they cost a whopping $8 more per rotor or something.

Thanks to this thread, I just got a set of centric premium fronts for my wife's protege. I received them today and am surprised at the quality. They don't look like the chit you get at autozone and probably around the same cost.
