Happy Birthday!

Just turned 28 today myself...and I agree with you....I feel OLD.

I know we only get older from here, but I thought we'd feel like we did at 25 for quite a bit longer.

Have a good weekend.

Mach929 09-19-2009 08:52 AM

couldn't get too crazy last night because i'm going golfing with my popop and his church today so the less i stink the better. but i met a nice contractor guy who says he'll dp anything without a permit and the band was actually quite good and diverse. the challenge today will be keeping my mouth in check while in the company of avid churchgoers.

My 6'2, 280# former roughneck younger brother is knocking on 40 this year. I call him, "kid".

Good luck on the links. (And with your mouth...)

I still can't get over being in classes with kids that were born in the '90s...

I think I was watching Channel One in school by then...and now I have to fight these farts off during professor office hours.

Yeah i am noticing a lot of older people in my classes, i'm a sophmore at my local college and wow even English class.. amazing how many people in their 40s were in that class. I guess the economy is catching up on everybody :vash:

Quit your bitchin' about kids from the 90s and try this on for size:

I've got a friend from High School who's son is in San Antonio right now. He wants me to check on him, knowing I am retired-AF and "junior" is in Basic Training...

I just turned 23 on Thursday and I feel old.. It's funny I still tell people I'm 19 sometimes because I still pretend I'm that age to feel better about myself.

Scuba_Steve 09-19-2009 07:51 PM

Happy birthday son. You are the same age as my oldest daughter and I'm not old. I ran 20 miles last weekend. I ran a trail half marathon today and biked to and from the event. Tomorrow I have a bike tour around the city. In two weeks I'm running twin cities marathon.

neogenesis2004 09-19-2009 08:12 PM

Wanna post your resume while you are at it pops? :P
