I saw it this afternoon with my wife. Wow... It is really, really good, even better than Batman Begins, which at the time I thought was the best Batman to date. Good acting, good script, good toys, good special effects, good soundtrack, and just enough gore to make the point. It is a long movie but it is a good ride all the way through.

Heath Ledger has probably ruined The Joker for anyone else now as his performance was very believable. Ledger now owns The Joker. He made Nicholson's version look like a little clown bitch in comparison. I am not one for hype but in this case the hype was not overdone. Too bad he is gone since I would like to see him play The Joker again in a sequel.

If you have not seen it yet, and you liked the first one, go check it out. It is worth the trip. The lines are still really long though.

This movie is mediocre at best.

It's got some really good parts, but it's also got so much unnecessary crap in it that it comes across as incoherent and rambling.

 

My g/f wanted to see this because of Ledger, she loves his movies. I'm not big into the superhero movies but I thought it was pretty good. It was really long, they could have left some of it out. Ledger did a very good job though, I liked his magic trick with the pencil.

 

The movie was ******* weaksauce...

Not to give anything away to people who haven't seen it but, Seriously WTF they have a gun pointed to the jokers head like 4 times....somebody blow that ******* brains out!!

Ledger was pretty decent though, he is a wierd duck.

Just watched Batman Begins tonight so I can go see this in theatre this week. Looking forward to it. Though i've been told step brothers is awesome.

 

Ha that was the first movie I have seen in theatres in two years...and I'm 17 years old. Just a reminder to me that new movies suck. Hollywood should perish, along with its inhabitants. Then maybe gas prices would go down.

 

Batman Begins was awesome. Dark Knight not so much. Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker was the only redeeming element. Everything else was cheesed up comic book junk.

 

I thought the movie was great, just thought that batman's character voice, was just a little over done. Kinda like the director kept yelling, "I need more ******* rasp in your voice, more ******* raspiness please!"

But heath ledger definitely stole the show.

Absolutely awesome. after watching this you should rent "american psycho" for Bale's interpretation of such. Equally good performance

 

+1 on both comments. It was OK. I went into it with lukewarm expectations and it delivered what I hoped for.

 

It may or may not have been a movie based on a comic book.
