you're welcome.

what's the point of making money if you can't leave stacks in your bank account and then leave your deposit/withdraw slips in the bank so others see it and get mad jelly?

How many kids do you have? I ask because it always baffles me when people sell subarus for "bigger vehicles" and I can never understand why someone would want something bigger unless you have 3+ kids. We've only 1 kid though so my opinion might change later
If I had two kids or less I'd be hauling them around in my STI lol. I see a surprising number of baby seats in STIs actually. Gives me hope that I won't give up all the fun things in my life if I have kids.

This just in: 99.99% of the people that say that have no idea what they're talking about.

Sure there are extreme situations that go in both directions, but it's not the rule.

Slightly unrelated but still sort of related, the amount of people that I see referring to their wife as "the boss" or something similar is highly upsetting to me. Maybe I don't understand marriage.
(Inb4 I call my wife "the boss" in 10 years)

I'd say you're at the limit of that thing, but it should still work.

I dunno, I wouldn't sell it if it's still running strong, I regret selling my 08 very often. It's the perfect blend of practical yet sporty.

I'm shocked you haven't modded it more. I'd do a proper tune on it at the very least. THe difference is impressive, they just respond so well to tuning.

PS: the last one I saw sell for 17-18 was a FLAWLESS Aspen white pearl 08 Sport 5mt with some very tasteful and proper mods. It was a thing of beauty, the whole forum (i-club) was drooling over it.
The dog ranks nearly as high as a kid.

I love the car, it still makes me smile, especially driving in the snow we've had lately. I'd say it's worth 14 to me, but probably not to anyone else, so I'll most likely end up keeping it.

I kind of set a rule for myself early on that I wasn't going to modify it, mostly in the interest of longevity. I haven't really researched getting a tune, but I think I've seen you mention that the factory tune is pretty bad.

Ooh! This thread is relevant to my interests. And I agree about the kids-thing. When our son was born, we just kept my WRX Wagon and my wife's Honda Fit. Space was never an issue. When our daughter was born, we decided to get a bigger car and replaced her Fit with a Forester XT.

Also, I love my Subaru. Our FXT is actually my third. I'm the original owner of my '07 WRX, I drive it everyday, and I still love it.

And one with my son posin'

My Forester is my sixth Subaru, taking salt abuse so the Miata doesn't have to.

I search n00b'd and came up with no mention of the SVX in this thread. Unfortunately, searching my driveway will turn up no SVXi, as I sold my first one to get my second one, and sold my second one to get my Miata.

The first one was a five-speed swap. The second one had a six-speed and rabies:

Oh snap I'm loving how the subaru crew is growing
I maintain a few offroad/rally local subaru's and must say - although I'm not into that, it is FUN!!!

Where is the hookup on 5x100 wheels? Getting ready to order something for the BRZ.

I don't really want RPF-1s, but there isn't a better price/weight/availability/BBK clearance wheel available.

you mean the 6ul? pretty sure he saw that thread.

when you consider all those criteria, the rpf is pretty hard to beat

I personally am not crazy about 6ul's and even less so about 6ulr's. I don't dislike them, but much prefer other designs and styling.

I did.

However, it says they are expected mid-May. So my cynical side says it won't be until June/July they actually show up and I'm not waiting that long.

First Auto-X is next month and the spring rates on my Ground Controls are completely overwhelming the sucky stock tires.
