That's badass man. I like the fact that accuracy doesn't matter because they put out so many rounds you can just blow one big ass hole in whatever you're shooting at.
How much do you have in that gun? I have no idea what automatic weapons cost, let alone aftermarket upgrades for them.
I do know the Anschutz 2013 .22 target rifle i use for NCAA rifle is around $3300 with open peepsights.

as it sits, with the transfer taxes.. 4200

Have you gone through much of that ammo you bought or was that for another gun?

I haven't had it out yet, but I have 3000 rounds stored up so I should be good for a trip or three.

I'm not at liberty to discuss specifics, but I have a buddy who is Atlanta Red Dog SWAT. We go to the local range sometimes and get to play with his weapons. We get the police discount on the range time and the City of Atlanta supplies the ammo.

It's much more fun than when I go with my own handguns.

Good times for all. :bigtu:

MP5's are great, my old man had a select fire MP5 back in hte 80s.

Sadly a transferrable MP5 is about 16k.

Nice piece Philip........over here we get to shoot automatics pretty much every day......But nothing can compare to owning one! One question...What is the benefif of your new upper reciever?

thanks,
Nick

This drop-in upper receiver converts your M-11/9 into a match winning subgun. Features include adjustable front and rear sights, full length M1913 scope rail and hard mount points for additional M1913 rails on right, left and bottom of front handgrip. Bottom rail included. Contained within the upper receiver is a heavy weight bolt assembly that telescopes over the barrel. The bolt weight is securely attached to the bolt assembly with two hardened cap screws- no welds to crack or break. This reduces the rate of fire (ROF) from 1,100 RPM down to around 600 RPM. Easily shoot single, double or triple round bursts- just count them off while its firing, it's that slow and easy. Due to the reduced ROF, muzzle rise is reduced and multiple rounds stay on target. The MAX-11 SF attaches to the stock M-11/9 lower receiver without any modification to the lower receiver.

a few feed problems but I think I've got it tweaked with a little help from the guy that built the upper, I think it'll run fine next time out.

here's about 3 mag dumps worth, lol

25 yards
in 3rd bursts yep, very accurate.

I'm curious to hear the more complete story behind that, I've been thinking of getting a handgun (probably a glock) for self-defense. I've never needed one before, but you never know.

Very nice SMG Philip!

I was running cars for a wholesaler in college. I had a 360, c5z06, and sl55 on the hauler, pulled by a brand new dodge truck. I was in Birmingham at 12:30am and went one exit too far, I fucked up when I turned around because the service road was closed, so I had to back up the 50' trailer. 6 thugs walked up to the truck while backing it up. One dude was banging on the driver window, then another broke the passenger window with a pistol. I already had the 45 out, I was literally looking down the barrel of this fuckers gun, so I shot him in the chest. With a gang of thugs, and these dude's stealing all these cars...they'd be idiots to not kill me. After I shot him, the other 5 split. I called the police, hung out at the police station for about 8 hours and they never booked me, went home, and 2 weeks later the police called me to say they would not press charges. I didn't sleep for like a month after that, and I still think about it weekly or so. I know I had to do it, to save my own life, but I still have a lot of guilt.

I keep a pistol in the miata, becuase its too easy to carjack a convertible. Motherfuckers are crazy man. People get killed in their homes every day. Get a CHL, learn to shoot, practice annually, and run through the scenarios so you'll have a better idea of what to do when it happens. Expect to go to jail if you use it though...is it worth saving your life, if it means going to jail?

a guy in denver got car jacked just a few nights ago, the dude forced him into the pax seat and jacked the car with him in it. The victim shot the guy in the head and he ran off, was later found by police dogs.

I'd imagine he checked into the hospital with a hell of a headache and a dog bite on his ass.

I'm a serious gun nut myself... I was looking into the rifle mounts that the police use in the cages in the Crown Vics. Looks like it would clamp right onto my HDHB. I could carry my Mini-14 or an AK on it :D

there was, I banned the dissenters.
