wow, cool car. Welcome to our forum. I dig all the custom work you have done under and inside the car and even more so like that the car would look nearly stock to an uninformed person looking at sort of a distance. I see you have made a custom transmission tunnel for an auto, what transmission are you running and what rear end? At this point, the car is barely even a miata anymore with all those suspension mods you have going on.

Any what power level do you figure you are at now? I've heard this and that about 800ish numbers.. and truth to that?

Well im using a g-force transmission, and the rear end is from Jerry Bickel. The car is still a miata...at least I hope it is.

Now the yellow car that you see there was a full bodied miata and chassis. The motor was in that but, it was a bit dangerous at the track and on the road.....although to see the salesman and potential buyer faces of that new corvette get annihilated by a little yellow miata while they were out on a test drive was priceless.

Yellow car (totaly stock chassis with these upgrades)
stock 6 speed tranny (very surprised it held the 616 rwhp...but it did)
a dual disc Spec clutch
a guru rear dif from FM (very very nice piece)
Koni fully adjustable shocks
electromotive tech 3 computer
and of course the motor (with 2.0 stroker from FM)

Well i will say on those first few passes down the track as I was learning the car the boost was set at 25 psi and 6300 redline (about 580 to the rear). 616was the most we made to the rear at 27.5 psi. I know all these honda guys push 30-45+ psi in there drag cars....insane. The builder said we could turn the boost up np, and could make well over 800 rwhp. Is it necessary? not right now. The car should be a 8.5-8.7 @ 165+ mph as it sits. Let me get it there first then we will turn up the boost a bit.
