I like how these threads ALWAYS turn into "One time I did "something similar to OP" and im gonna tell you about it." Did he ask for our fucking life stories?
Makes for a good read though.
lol

lmao guys....and fags.

Im just gonna let it do it's thing until it feels better and see what happens. If it's broken, i don't think it's too far out of whack since it still looks rather straight.

On a side note, i had a friend who broke his clavicle (aka front collar bone) and he just kinda took it easy. Did it doing moto-x and he didn't have any kind of insurance and never went to the hospital. When it finally healed, the bone was overlapping kinda like this

i know that shit had to hurt.

At least the toe doesn't feel near as bad as when i severd/cut my left achilles tendon all the way through.

Were you at the Doublecross? I thought it looked like the car in your sig there. My wife and I were there w/ our E-Stock R-package.

I agree, broke or not....... get the pimp cane.

Zabac 05-19-2008 09:51 AM

Looks broke to me, I had a few myself that looked like that.
It may be too late now, but everytime I do something like that, I pull on the toe/finger to get it to align properly, and just tape it to another one with spacer in between to keep it straight. It'll be ok in no time, it just hurts like hell once you pull on it, but feels much better afterwards.

who doesn't like common frame of reference anecdotes? really, your post added less useful information.

Re: collarbones and pissing off freshy... my cousin was hit by a car while riding his bike and broke both collar bones when he landed belly-flop on the asphalt. fucked his shit up.

my other cousin was riding his bike and RAN INTO a car and busted hes femur by wedging it between the pedal and handlebars. moron.

cousin number two ran me over in a pedal car when I was a kid and broke my wrist. moron.

I don't have a gruesome pic to post, but my right collarbone looks pretty much exactly like that. Not quite as much overlap, but the two halves are offset by about 1 circumference. That was 10 years ago and it still irritates me.

Yup :)
I got 2 eliminations right off the bat on sunday... against Steve Waters in the 99 SS C6 Vette' (he had a 1 second lead start on me thanks to Strelneiks) and then i went against the yellow STS2 CRX...and lost after he got a 2.5 second lead start lol. Buy hey, it was my first PRO event and i was running on Hankook road race slicks (read - MUCH harder then those fancy A6's) so I couldn't expect to do all that well lol.

I got down to the final 8 and my wife won the ladies challenge. $1075 and 7 free Hoosiers made for a pretty good weekend. I guess we will come back for the National Tour, you gonna be there?

Doppelgänger 05-19-2008 01:29 PM

Congrats!

The only way im ever doing a PRO event again is if i get a set of A6's to run on, there is no way in hell im going to be remotely competitive running C50 Hankooks :(

Do you think those uber-wings do anything? I've contemplated buying a spare trunk lid so i can have one with a gi-nor-mo wing too lol

Your right.
I was just pissed that I didn't have one to tell and everybody else did. :sad2:

If it starts to really bother you you can fix it at home with a couple of supplies.

1-Hammer
2-Chisel
3-Cutting board
4-Blow torch
5-Narcotic pain killer
6-Video camera

One good swift whack and it'll be all over.

Stein 05-19-2008 11:11 PM

OK, I had my wife look at it. She is an RN.

Yes, it appears to be broken.

There isn't anything you can do for it. It will heal on it's own. She said some people wear open toed shoes just so it isn't rubbing on anything.

That little shopping list made me think of the movie Hostel.
