earthquake!!!~
did anyone just feel that??
5.6M earthquake in the bay area, California, just a few miles north of alum rock.. i thought the world was gonna fucking end hahaha. |
Damn crazy stuff. No effects of it here that I know of. Though I am across the country.
if that was a 5.6, i really wonder what the 1906 earthquake felt like. the earthquake lasted a good 10 seconds, i freaked out and jumped in my closet hahaha ><
the last real earthquake i felt was the loma prieta earthquake, and that was a 6.9M if i recall. lots of damage from that one. |
I was about 60 miles from a 7.2 back in Alaska when i was in highschool, craziest natural disaster i've been around besides driving past a tornado in edmonton.
holy shit right when i clicked on this thread we just got an earthquake.. that was crazy haha
^^
seriously, the worlds gonna end. |
yea i was serious, but earthquakes are not a big deal here in guam because nothing really falls apart or brakes i guess since are houses are made of concrete instead of wood. i just freaked out because it happn right when i clicked thread
yea, there were like, 10 minor aftershocks after that big one. makes you wonder when the BIG one is gonna come. everyone says every 140 years, hopefully that was just it.
time to buy land east of the san andreas fault?
I felt it. I was in the garage, about to get under the car, lol
i would be shittin in my pants if i was under the car when that happened. rather than the car protecting you from falling objects..
Lol earthquake. We don't have those here.
Part of the state is burning, part of the state is shaking violently, California just can't get a break...

OR maybe they'll just break off from the rest of the US to go hang with Hawaii, Alaska can come too... THE END |
We had one in GA about 5 or 6 years ago, no kidding. It was a little one, but it happened in the middle of the night, so I woke up to this unreal grinding/growling noise. The shaking wasn't so bad as much as stuff in the house was vibrating and rattling around. It scared me for a minute, then I assured myself that it was all a dream, and I went back to sleep. Found out it was a quake when I watched the morning news.
