I'd rather just cook my own food. It all comes out as **** anyway.

LOL Food and Friends... I remember that place. I guess its not as improved as I imagined. You should plan out a food centered trip of some sort or make it a point to hit nice establishments whenever you vacation.

Judging by the damage that some places will do to your wallet in DC, my experience in Las Vegas actually got me some killer food and drank for the price. Scott Conant's DOCG: nom margherita pizza w/ chianti and a top floor restaurant called The Mixx with aged steaks and impressive wine list. Gordon Ramsay's BurGR was decent but didn't astound besides the truffle fries haha. When you slap your corny pop culture chef name on a food establishment it better deliver. These names don't warrant the price tag of some top chefs' food, but still get the job done. It's all **** one way or another right?

I have to say I love the relatively universal increase in beer selection in the US. Much craft yumminess at more and more places.

I need to get a smartphone already just so I better document food adventures.

I'm really enjoying the rediscovery of cooking from scratch. Been dabbling in curries of late.

Good stuff.

Broke College Student or Stoner Mentality...hmmmmmm

Tonight's cheap dinner- wrapped hotdogs.

Oat w/flax wraps, aioli garlic mustard, sliced pickle and turkey hotdogs.
Boiled, then wrapped with mustard and pickle, then tossed on the Foreman for a few minutes. Winning. Quite tasty.

I just had chicken meatballs on a homemade spinach pesto pasta with campari tomatoes and topped with parmesan reggiano, a side of roasted carrots, and a margarita.

Jealous that your boyfriend doesn't bring that to you in bed along with a morning sucking?

Matthew Ramos replied: “Yea it is. I spoke with a lunch lady and she said the (school) forgot to put the eggs in the burrito. She misread the recipe. They have since corrected it and from what I was told they will no longer serve that burrito.”
