Default NWS *Mods, this would be fun...* Official Gay Thread Arrggg Matey

So I was on this prius forum, trying to post a thread saying what I thought about the prius (not positive things) and being little pansy's they won't let me post what I want so nobody gets upset, then after a couple of pm's their mod sent me this.

"Tell you what...you give me a link to the Car Enthusiast sites you frequent and what your screen name is there and let me e-mail your moderators...I'll ask them if it's OK to have my forums members come there and say what pieces of s**t your Mustang or your Hummer or whatever car you think is the epitome of what a car should be, without moderating what they say. If those moderators agree then I'll let you post whatever you want."

This got me thinking. You mods always just change whatever people say and if a whole bunch of prius people came on here you could have some good fun with them...

Yes this idea is totally retarded, but it would be a bit of a laugh for a while. If everyone thinks this is a bad idea (which it kind of is) then you should all make priuschat accounts and post what you think of the cars on their forums anyways (they can't stop your first posts).

And if you like prius then say so, we could get a little debate going on here.

p.s Please don't ban me

**** the prius... the power train design was stolen and Toyota is in court over the intellectual property rights because of it. Not to mention the folks who drive them because of the fuel economy and "small" environmental impact are close minded, small picture, politically inept *******.

If they decide to bring it on over here... I'll be more than happy to make an account and **** their ignorant hippie days all up.

This is what I tried to post that got the mod so pissed.

Why did all of you buy prius??

Opposed to popular prius beleif, they are not fast (because they are obese and weigh more than similarly sized cars), not fun to drive (they have soggy suspension and horrible eco-tires).

(my and many other's opinion) They are the worst looking cars on the road and children cry when they see them.

They still can't top some modern diesels for economy, if you care that much about emissions, then why not make petitions to get small diesels in the US instead of waste your money on the first thing with GREEN written on it?

They take immense amounts of energy to be produced (shipping parts all over the globe), and the nickel in the batteries comes from a chemical plant which caused a dead zone.

But most of all, if you really care about the environment why didn't you just keep your old car or get a used one!!!??? No matter how efficient a new car is, you are doing more damage by making a new car than you will do for years driving a conventional gas powered car. Drive cars longer! And that is another shortfall of your beloved prius, batteries don't last forever, and will have to be replaced with new costly and environmentally unfriendly batteries, making this car one of the only ones that has trouble being driven for years to come. In 50 years there will still be modern bmw’s and cars of that sort on the road, but I just can’t see a prius lasting that long.

Hybrids are not the answer, sorry to burst your bubble. The extra weight and resources used to make these makes them a completely impractical and illogical idea. The future is in lightweight cars that still use internal combustion engines but running on the next generation of bio-fuels (not this generation of inefficient fuels that only use small percentages as crops) and even still running on gas (as your prius do! yes they still burn what every other car uses, so not any different).

Hopefully you prius people will read this in full and take into account what I am saying, and not just brush off these ideas.

I even tried to be non-inflammatory and just point out why they are idiots for getting prius.

why don't they ride motorcycles? try 40-80 mpg and a huge decrease in congestion and commute times, now that would really help the environment. the prius still uses the same amount of raw materials to construct, and uses just as much space as any other car.

but yeah, diesel is way more efficient than hybrids. europeans have known that for years.

See! That should be posted on their forums as well, but they don't want to even imagine that they could be wrong, really up their own asses.

I like mine alot the bearing deal makes the nut seat even and has less chance for screw ups. I did have 1 fail on me though, split down the middle but i think i might have overtorqued it or something. 80 lb/ft is just to small a number sometimes.

Hybrids are the answer... just not gas/electric. I've been working on developing a diesel/hydraulic hybrid for a while now. just don't have the funds for a vehicle to rip apart and install said **** into. Anyone have a geo metro or ford festiva to donate to the 75 mpg project?
