Default Dammit - I hate changing diff oil

Changed the diff oil in the '94 today, now the garage is going to smell like **** for a week.

I need to start using the neighbors garage whenever I change gear oil

I'm confused. Are you saying I shouldn't just let it drain onto the dirt floor to keep the dust down

Do you really drain it on the floor?
I do all that crap in my apartment parking spot, not that big of a deal.

After my first clutch job (3 days under the car), clutch and diff oil literally makes me nauseous.

the worst is when you're lying under the car and you end up laying your head on a puddle of brake fluid on accident and it gets all in your hair. blech.

At least that washes out easy. I've laid my head back into some marine grease I was using when installing my swaybar. That sucked big time!

No, it was a joke, I always recycle drained oil, but gear oil really does stink.

I almost passed out when I changed my fuel filter on the 92. Gear oil is nothing compare to fuel vapor

I was helping a friend remove a rear end from his Camaro when he toasted his 10-bolt...and I put my head in the drain bucket by accident...god that was nasty...lots and lots of gear oil and tranny fluid in the hair...disgusting.

The worst is when you are done working on the car, you have the slave you just took out, and you compress it like a dumbass, and the x year old rotten clutch fluid shoots into your (nearly closed, but not enough) mouth.

Don't ask.

These all sound nasty but the biggest mistake of my life was buying Dove shampoo. Used it, liked it, finished the bottle. Went back to the store bought another one used it, wondered why it wasnt lathering very well. Picked me up an identical bottle of moisturiser.

Took me a week to get that **** out. looked like I was wearing brylcreem.
