EPOXY brake caliper paint, is it just tinted epoxy?

wanting to paint my vice in somthing durable. I had great luck with the G2 epoxy paint on my calipers, but the price is insane. basically $10 per oz. Is that stuff the same as my West Systems epoxy, with just some color added to it?
