I will say here that americans in general think that "healthy weight" looks too skinny. take that with whatever grain of salt you want.

For what I have to do at the barn, being the 165 I was 5 years ago before lifting would be a hindrance. Being the fat lard I am now sure is an ego crusher compared to the days of a 6 pack, ripped back, and decent arms.

5'8 BMI 24.5, fat % using the linked calculator is 23.

By fat percentage, the chart says I'm obese.
By BMI, I'm overweight.

I'm eight weeks away from my next marathon. Headed to Tanzania in August to climb Kilimanjaro.
I may be a fat SOB, but I'm doing way more than most of the guys my age.

I do realize that it is probably a lot easier getting obese in the states. That said, cook your own food. Run. Use the stairs. EAT LESS.

The old equation of in = out gets you delta 0.

And yeah, bmi isnt that good if you are muskular, however, mirrors are good for judging that

i'm not saying you can't weigh a lot, i'm talking body fat percentage in the 30s. that's what people think is "normal" now.

every time someone sees a thin person with muscle tone and says "god eat something!" I want to kick them in the face and force feed them donuts. more often than not, those judging the thin person are soft and squishy like a memory foam mattress.

It's the result the Bodyfat site linked above gives me.

I was just illustrating how hilariously wrong both automatically generated figures are.

One claims I am stupid obese, the other claims I'm ridic-unfat.

Thank you! I get the "go eat something!" all the time. Yeah I'm skinny, but I don't think I'm underweight.

Look back years ago when a large soft drink and fries are the size of today's small. America sure loves to eat, and it's not my fault that I'm "too skinny".

I don't know man the food in this country tastes different. Now i'm talking about the raw food you buy from the store to cook it your self.. Meat has no natural taste, vegetables lack A LOT of taste... Now for sure the lifestyle makes the most difference but I'm saying the food is a problem too.

Spyder, you're at a good weight for your size assuming you dont have a belly.

triple88a bro, you really need to L2Cook.

It sounds like you are using super-cheap ingredients with not knowing what you are doing to cook them

BBQing a naturally raised chicken requires only salt to taste good. In order to make store bought chicken you have to marinade it for hours and add 12 other different flavors so it doesn't taste like a rubber shoe.

26.7 BMI, 15.5% body fat. Working on it...

Why doesn't it let me enter my hips? Only neck and waist.

Oh, women only. I'm gonna hear it for that one.

Did you just admit to using super cheap ingredients and the super cheap ingredients not tasting good?

"Organic" store bought ---- is still raised the same as everything else, it's the biggest crock o' crap I've ever seen.

There's some stupid list of labels you are looking for, like "Farm raised organic free range chicken" or equally retarded government-regulated list to get what you are wanting.
