FB RX-7 with a 400HP 5.0 Ford Motor
#63
The kid wanted to make a car that was fast and pissed people off. I think this thread shows he did the latter quite well.
Also consider that most big builds (even on here) end up never completed and parted out, and this dude in his teens actually drives his project, and does it angrily. For that he can do whatever he wants with his speedo and gas gauge.

I'm not pissed, quite the opposite. I respect the V8 swap. I doubt I could ever do anything that cool. I hate on the wooden splitter, the whatever that is grill, the outside speedo, etc.

Its been on a dyno and it was tuned by a reputable tuner here in So Cal. the car made 330whp. Nothing was said about 400whp, i said 400hp. Crank hp.
The car weighs around 2400-2500lbs.
Comparison:
My brothers 350z makes 400whp on Stillen's dyno at 9psi.
The RX-7 is faster.

lol nice example. Its a youtube video. Just like tv they want things to sound better and its a feature. When u see cars getting featured in magazines they always hire some insane photographers that make your car look like god when in reality it looks...well not like god.

Also, he does have a build thread on an RX7 forum but i think u need to be a member with 15+ posts to view it.
It's about 200 miles north of there. Its in the hills near Malibu Beach.

With all the sandy vaginas in this thread im pretty sure the owner did what he set out to do.
The difference between him and the cr crowd is he has the performance to back up a retarded look. I dont mind a ugly as hell, whether it be all ghetto in this instance or riced out, if they have the performance to back it up. Remeber the rice thing started out as civics that wanted to look fast without being fast, who cares how they look if the ARE fast.
I google searched "ugly fast cars", to hopefully find something for comic relief. This came up and I thought it warranted a post.
