Default What do I call my turbo?

I keep having people ask me what kind of turbo I have. I don't know what the cool answer would be. My first instinct in Garrett, but I don't think that is what they are looking for. I'm sure if I said "small ball bearing" they would be confused. Please help.

Just say Garrett GT2554R. IDK what the cool answer would be, but that answers the question. If they ask any further, seems you already know it's ball bearing and water cooled. There's not much more to tell them unless you get into compressor maps, efficiency range, etc.

The more detailed you come across the less of a newb you seem.

A 2554 falls squarely in the vagina turbo category.

Most people have asked me if mine was a T3 or T4. They're usually idiots, so I tell them it's a T1000.

GT2554R rolls off the tongue like herpes. I usually say "small T25".
