Finally bought a Wii
 

Back in January I said that my wife wanted a Wii so she could race the cows:

Finally took the plunge today. I found an older "hackable" Wii on Ebay for $175 with 3 games. It was a local seller so I picked it up and purchased the cow game and an extra joystick as well as a thing to recharge the remote batteries. So, I'm about $275 into it right now. Still need a modchip and some other stuff...

I haven't played the Wii much, but it seemed pretty fun. My g/f wants one because she loves Mario party. I want it for Super smash bros.

My nephews quit playing halo3 with me for that new super smash bros game. I hear alot of people say its the best game for the wii hands down.

anyone caused any injuries with the wii yet? I stand at 2 bleeding noses from playing tennis on the wii (not my nose):giggle:

After having the Wii for 24 hours I feel like I need to wash the gayness off of me. I've always told people that the Wii was for women and little kids but I was just taking a guess. Now I know that for sure!

Any good manly games out there for it?

RE4 and RE: Umbrella Chronicles if you like killing zombies. Super Smash Brothers Brawl is another must have game. Metriod and Zelda if you like long drawn out action/adventure games.

Wii adds a whole different dimension to the RE series. I need to get Umbrella Chronicles, 4 is a lot of fun. I need to get the HD cables now.

That isn't very difficult since the Wii really does not have any good games. Bottom line, the wii is entertainment for people who do not play video games. I had both Wii and PS3, decided the wii was basically a glorified gamecube w/ new controllers, and sold it.

Only console we owned was a ps2 and it collected dust. The wii joined us about 3 weeks ago. It actually gets played. :)

i wanted a wii for about 6 months. kinda glad I couldn't get one now. my gf wouldn't be using it either.
