My 10 mile commute to work showed 51.8mpg in my Civic, which is pretty promising since it's throwing codes for a failed IMA battery code and a bad cat. Still not sure if I want to dump money into it or just keep driving.

I wouldn’t. Our 05 civic hybrid was a total piece of trash I wasted so much money on it back in the day and stuff just kept failing over and over. Finally gave up and sold it dirt cheap cause I couldn’t stand it anymore

i was actually surprised: i got 31mpg in my c400 driving back from Charlotte, NC to NoVA. I wasnt even trying. dat airbag suspension is hella smooth.

really, that's not bad for an i-4 let alone a twin turbo v6 that makes 330/375 hp/tq

Grid charge and discharge the batt a few times

O2 sensor spacer for the rear o2. Buy an actual right angle spacer, not anti fowler.

I've always pronounced it the same as the title of the animated movie about the rats. But then I wonder if people think I sound like an idiot.

I have always said the long version, not the acronym. Here is an old discussion on an rc forum about the topic...

Spent friday night replacing the primary cat and gaskets. Went for a 6hr road trip on sat hating every second of it. No exhaust leaks, but the car had NO power and was stuttering all over the place. I was WOT in 4th gear to try and maintain 70mph on the interstate.

2nd cat was completely plugged.... The exhaust leak in the primary was enough for the car to drive normally, but severely choked it after fixing it.

Replaced the radiator and fixed 2nd cat today.

holy crap! I'm surprized you tried to keep 70mph, hope you didnt damage something. You just cut it out?

Haha, that poor insight! It was charging the whole time, you can only floor it for like 20 seconds with full assist before it goes to recharge only. It is pretty fun to toss around. A properly build k swap would do really well. I think they weigh like 1200 pounds stripped. Good tires and suspension, 250whp... nasty.

I'm sure you guys have seen this already, but this is an awd turbo k swap insight, and its fast...

I drive 8 to 10 hours out of many days of the week. In fact, I'm driving right now. I do not want a little bitty car to drive everyday.

If it wasn't so far, that would be tempting to keep miles off the BMW until I decide to keep or trade.
