They made more than a couple of Miata coupes because I saw at least one Australian market car listed for sale once on a racing forum from down under.

IIRC the yellow NA is a one-off and there were several hundred NB coupes. Rumor has it that the sheetmetal can be ordered for the NB coupe conversion, but one must have a coupe VIN first.
