Flight to Stuttgart RT for $466? In May?

Is anyone else a big traveller? I can't believe the prices I am seeing on round trip flights to Europe right now. The numbers are about one third what they were a year ago in some cases. I only wish I was making enough extra dough right now to take some of these trips. Round trip $466 Tampa to Stuttgart including taxes and fees? That's the out the door price? In May?
Unbelievable!

If you have the cash, it's the chance of a lifetime to make a trip on the cheap. I was using http://www.kayak.com to track the fares of all of the discount sites (orbitz, travelocity, etc.) and the airlines own sites (Delta.com, etc.) for the best deals. The fares typically go on sale between 21 and 49 days in advance of the flight, so it's pretty close to departure date that you should book for maximum savings. And it is cheapest to fly on Tuesdays.

That is if anybody might care...

Ugh! I wish, I'm buying my ticket leaving may 12th and coming back June 30th and at minimum I'm looking at 900$ (West Palm Beach To Prague) and it doesn't get much cheaper (If at all) if I switch to Miami or Ft Lauderdale or Orlando.

Hey; that's what a recession will do to prices! My sister just left for a 14 day trip to Spain and she only paid US$280 for each round trip ticket. One year ago, that same trip used to cost over $1,000.

I was seeing sub 600 for R/T to Brussels from DC. I plan to drink of their beer next month "for work".

I'm flying round trip to St. Johns with accommodations included for less than $500 dollars this month.

Munich is half that price and is only an hour or so by train from Prague. That would save you some cash and let you visit the Paulaner Keller before you hop the train. And it is easy to get from the Munich airport to the Hauptbahnhof (main train station).

Just an idea...

Edit: Seems that the return trip being so far out has you missing some of the discounting windows. That's a very long stay. You are a lucky guy. Prague is a great city, and some of the smaller cities around it are cool, too. I hope you get to see it all.

I usually use Kayak for me and all of my relatives.
I book on average 5-6 trips a year for various brothers/sisters/uncles/aunts/cousins etc. The prices for International flights are badass right now.
My brother just got back from Europe last week and is already saving up to go back in September. I jealous!

Yeah its my total trip time which is killing me. Late June is the worst to fly in. 49 total days in Europe, I can't wait.
