Flogging Molly
I just got free tickets to the Flogging Molly show in Philly!!!!!!!
I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited to go see them again. Saw them 2 years ago at the festival pier in Philly and it was unbelievable. After the show I got to meet the band cause they came out into the crowd. Tried to see them last year, but was denied at the door cause I was wayyyyyy too drunk to come in. lol. Any one else a flogging fan? |
I'm seeing ALL on Jan 8th.
Who isn't a Dropkick or Molly fan? |
I am thoroughly disappointed with the content found in this link :inout:

I'd love to see Flogging Molly. |
I saw them 2 years ago on their 17 days of St. Partrick's Day Tour. Definitely a bad you must see live.

I'm a bigger fan of Dropkick but I'd definitely go to a Molly show.
My fav: |

Everytime I go to the bar after work this one dude "Shane" puts DropKick Murphys on the jukebox. I just can't get into it, perhaps it's cause he only plays the same song everytime. I could listen to the soundtrack of "the Boondock Saint's" but for some reaon, when this dude plays that certain song, I just wanna make him buy me a drink for annoying me. I guess I get him back though, cause I put "18 and Life" by Skid Row on cause it's the best song ever made, and then he's like "what the fuck is this shit?" Then we argue and he buys me a drink cause Sebastian Bach can sing way better than anybody the dropkick murphys could pick to sing for them.

And I really don't like dropkick that much. I prefer flogging a whole lot more. Maybe try listening to some flogging. Youtube has a decent playlist if you search for flogging molly. |
I have seen Dropkick and Flogging at least half a dozen times each between warped tours and other festivals I have been to. Both put on amazing shows that I really enjoy. Unfortunately I really can not just get into listening to their Cd's and enjoying their music. Something about their stage presence at live shows make the difference.
For another band like them I recommend checking out Street Dogs. The lead singer used to be in Dropkick and they put on kickass live shows. |
Went to the show on Friday in Philly. I actually got VIP passes and was in the VIP lounge. Had a leather couch and all. A little lower then balcony. It was pretty badass. Took some videos too and put them on youtube. Hope you enjoy!

Saw their show on St. Pats in Phoenix. Awesome. They came right out and started with Another Bag of Bricks (personal favorite). I damn near lost a tooth or three in the pit.

Here's the set list that I managed to get from the soundboard guy.

Awesome set from a band that never fails to deliver live.
The last time I saw them I was sitting in a puddle, outside, in March after drinking for almost 10 hours. |
Why listen to Dropkick Murphys when you can listen to The Pogues?
