Default 240sx sr20 swap advice needed(w/ pics)

Ok, I know a few of the members on this forum have had/built sr swapped 240sx's. So far we have a garage(installed a garage door on a building we are renting), a clean 95 240sx(se), a blacktop s13 sr20det and 5spd, and the wiring harness already wired for this exact swap(s13 motor, s14 chassis, abs, etc).

Were going to start pulling the KA very soon, and then the swap begins.

Mainly I wanted to see if any of you guys have any input, or tips/tricks.. as we have no experience in the swap dept. Should be fun.

Isn't there a DVD that shows a step by step procedure of the swap?

I'm no expert, but a bunch of my friends have the same exact thing. This swap is supposed to be one of the easiest swaps out there. Good luck

Yeah actually we just bought that, its on the way now.

Its a swap into the s13 w/ s13 motor but it should be basically the same.

Ill update this thread with pics of the finished product.

I did an RB into a 240 last spring break, wasn't that bad and this could only be easier. Don't the dash plugs for the ECU plug right in so you don't have to solder/splice anything?

Yeah, the harness we have in particular was purchased from a member on zilvia.net, its supposed to be pnp for the s13 motor into s14 chassis. We shall see. The guy even did the favor of wiring in the abs for us for free.

Ive had two 240sx sr20 swaps. Did my first one when i was 16. PM me if you have any hold ups or questions. Get all your **** from Jeff at 240sxmotoring. Hes the man, he is local for me and i know him pretty well. Its a very strait forward swap, especially if you are doing aftermarket parts like a front mount, dp, ect.
