I hate that place for many reasons. Everytime there is a new debate, everyone comes in and says the origional poster was wrong. But they hardly ever show up again to read the rebuttle. Drives me nuts.
That and I didn't buy azenis, I dont have chrome everywhere and my wheels are .4 oz heavier than the stock ones. The three unforgivable acts. Better grip and lighter wheels help, but they rip you apart if you do otherwise.

Again, I love this forum, but you guys crack me up with the M.net bashing; you sound like a bunch of young punks rebelling against your parents/authority figures (which might not be to far from the truth).
M.net is still a great place to hang out and talk. There are some diamonds in the rough over there; really innovative, intelligent folks that have "been there, done that" on things most of us hadn't even thought to try. Emilio, Moti, Mark, me (Larry), Y8s, Rich Wilkman, RodH, most of the guys in engine conversions forum, etc. come to mind.
Anywho...

Its tough to stay clean over there.....with all that lube splashing everywhere from all the FM **** strokers. Gotta say I am jealous though. FM could sell these Devils Own kits all day long for MSRP+ $100 like everything else so they gotta be doing something right
I like how the people here are able to think for themselves and willing to try new things instead of having another cookie cutter Miata.

I agree its a great site for information. Whenever I need to fix something I search the site. I would highly recommend it for repair work or general questions. I refuse to post new topics there, as most of the replys are useless filler.
I was asking about the FM rear mounts when I was doing my konis. I searched and searched, but at the time all the info was about bumpstops and adding travel. I needed spring length info, but all I got was "do a search" or "you should buy bilsteins" then they would argue about the bilsteins and cost of revalving and what not. Meanwhile my question went unanswered. 6 out of the 9 topics I started went that way. Now months later when I search the questions have been asked 50 or so times and have been answered. Annoying.
I like this site because when I search, it works. And when someone asks a question which has been beaten to death, people here are still helpfull.

Like the people mentioned above and more like Shaikh (with his suspension spreadsheet), Jeff Anderson (with his radio/electronics stuff), and bwob (who rarely posts anymore, but was on the original miata design team at Mazda). Problem is that there are too few fact/info/data givers and too many people who give out their opinion as fact....and as we all know opinions are like a-holes....
