Default Free Kitty please rescue. ------

-----FREE KITTY------COMES WITH BONUS MINI KITTIES-----
Just got home and someone abandoned a kitty on my neighbors porch. She is a sweet heart and very lovey. She is quite pregnant though I believe. She is free to a good home. The wife and I have way too much school to take care of kittens and a 60lb Cur (Dog) that loves cats but cats don't always like her.

I'm located in Lebanon, TN. It's just outside of Nashville. I'd be willing to drive her a ways if someone would give her a good home. I love kitties as much as any of you guys, but can't take on a litter. I'd take one of the kittens after or her back. Just can't do it in my apartment on our schedule.

Also I'm in the process of trying to figure out who abandoned her. If I find out I WILL kick their teeth in. My complex is the only one around and 15min from any others really, and gated. Someone here knows about this. They will be found and dealt with. They will NOT get their cat back to do this again though.

I've already checked her for ticks, fed and watered her. She'll be sleeping in my place tonight. Debating if I want to risk losing my arms giving her a bath. She has claws and I no idea what shots she's had. She came from someone's home. She has a collar and isn't filthy like a stray. Someone actually brought her to my neighbors porch with her food bowl and left. No witnesses or ideas. I'm one of the complex security officers and I will make this persons life hell on a personal level for this.

Sorry, a little pissed. She's just too cute.

Just make sure that they're not black and carrying skittles before you have your way with them. In fact, it's probably best that you carry a bag of Twizzlers with you at all times in case you need to plant it on the body afterwards. Nobody likes licorice-flavored plastic.

I was thinking more along the lines of violence or eating a diet of pure asparagus and pee'ing on their door every night at random times.

Do you want to pet the kitty? Yes, I want to pet the kitty. The kitty is so soft and pretty.

Good luck!! And whoever left that poor pregnant kitty out in the world, alone, should be raped with a knife.

EDIT: Post more bigger pics!!

Maybe she got out of her house, got tired and decided to rest on your neighbors porch?

And she brought her food bowl with her?

Lets go over a few things since you seem like a kitty newb. First of all, check with the local animal shelter and www.homeagain.com to see if someone is looking for her.

You don't have to do any real work, let her birth naturally and the kittens that make it, make it. I know this is harsh, but my kitty and the ones I take care of were born under an abandoned house and shared that space with raccoons. You don't have to do anything for them, just some food and water, a litter box, and maybe a blanket to lay on.

The cat will probably take care of the dog if there is a problem, eventually they will be friends. My sister took in a feral kitty about 3 months ago, today the kitty and the 90lb lab hunted bugs together.

Even though she has no ticks plan to take her to the vet to check her out and get a poo poo sample. You don't want a kitty with parasites in the house.

Try to give away the kittens immediately, and go at it with persistence while they are small. Unfortunately, no one wants an adult cat. I don't know if you're interested in a cat or not, but stray kitties make the best pets. Today I was hunted, attacked, snuggled with, and right now there is a kitty in my lap as I type. She watches me from the window when I leave for work, and she's there waiting when I come home. She also helped with laundry today:

She was cool with me pushing the drawer closed with her inside, but if I tried to move her she bit me, lol.

Not new to cats. Still miss my kitty from Italy. 16lb all muscle tomcat. He'd rapeanyones mouth. Haven't been around birthing kittens since I was a kid. I'll probably keep one or the mom. Strays do make the best cats. She was left though, food bowl and all on the porch so I believe the pervious owners are done with her. My dog is fully up to date shots and what not. She survived distemper, so she'll power through a truck if need be.

FYI: every animal I've ever had was a rescue of one sort or another. Way better than breeders crap an inbred pets.

Hustler is right. All three of our cats are adopted strays. One (my buddy) was abandoned as a kitten w/ its mom & two siblings in a field with part of a hamburger to eat. He is awesome and is an attack/lap cat. They really do seem to appreciate being adopted.
Have the vet look for a chip in the car id'ing the owners.

EDIT 4 PEREZ, JOE: u r correct

Torquezombie: Do you have your rabies shot? I know the cat probably doesn't have rabies but...

Prior Military-I've had shot for everything under the sun, but Anthrax. When our dog Turbo got distemper the wife and I got shot up with rabies stuff last year. Just as a precaution.

Kittens are here as of Monday. She popped them out while I was sleeping around 11am ish. Wife came home to a litter of 7. Freaking 7 kittens. This apartment is going to be crazy in a few weeks. All of them survived so far and look healthy.

If anyone wants a kitten it's yours. I will accept dibs on any of them. I may have dibs on the orange or black one, but if a home claims one it's theirs. The mom is up for adoption too. Real sweat heat, and being a good mom. Also we have a 60lb dog and the kittens will be introduced immediatly so they'll be as dog friendly as possible. If one turns out to be an a$$hole I'll keep it. Softy for evil cats. Pics up soon, tinypic is broken

I wish I could take one, but my roommate is allergic and won't let me have a cat. Good luck finding homes!
