so much other stuff is going to shit too its ridiculous. today I showed up at dmv at 4:00 when they close at 5. they wouldnt let me or a bunch of other people in cause they "dont take people after 3:30" so they can finish up and gtfo due to budget cuts..no overtime to stay like 10 minutes past 5 so that people that came in before that can be helped. ridiculous

So I'm assuming engine swaps can't be made CARB legal anymore as well?

Only thing I can say is that my area of Cali is CRAZY right now.. Concorso, Monterey County Fair, Historics @ Laguna Seca...

...but on the plus side, there were many opportunities to roll down the window and listen today on the freeway. I counted 4 Ferraris, 1 Viper, 2 Aston Martins, loads of Porsches, an R8, 3 Elises, 1 Lotus 11 and a very loud bugeye Sprite.

What they are not doing anymore:
1) Helping people to get their cars to pass smog if they don't pass
2) Buying old cars that fail to get them off the road

I.E. They are spending less money on making smog easy to deal with.

driving to bay area yesterday we spotted a group of 19, thats right, 19 lamborghini's.

See we get that in SoFL, and we have no smog checks, we have better air, and we have some of the loosest gun laws in the union.
