Magna, let me know what you want to know about FTA BTW, search for Sonicview. If you lived outside the US you could also check Nfusion but that gets its update through the internet (they can see your IP address).

FWIW, FTA will work until Dish moves to Nagravision 3 code from the current Nagravision 2. I suspect it'll still take them around 1 more year.

When you plug in the Esata and power it on, it disables the internal drive and marries the external. As far as I know, you could have a library of externals with all your favorite crap and just swap them out when they're full to view at a later time, but with the writers strike, I'm not coming too close to filling up the 750 gigger. Plus, I've got two HD DVRs so I split shows between them. And I torrent stuff I don't have season passes for to watch on my Zen on my way to work in the morning.
