Fucking fedex put ditches in my front yard!

This is it and Fedex is going to know about this shit. I have had it with these bastards and I got them on camera. With plenty of room to pull a van in and back out, they decide to pull right into my front fucking yard, get stuck when I tell them to stop, and they keep on and put damn ditches in my lawn...

Anywayz, I had to get my tractor out to fix their fuckups...

First a lost package, then a destroyed 2000 dollars amp, then another lost package, now the motherfuckers get stuck in my lawn. Check this out...

And I got not one apology from these people.

Btw, he drove right over my septic tank. Wonder the front end didn't cave in, lol.

You fucked fedex in your front yard?

What, the whole company?

thesnowboarder 03-03-2009 06:48 PM

You needed a tractor to fix that tiny thing? lol

N3v 03-03-2009 06:49 PM

miatamania 03-03-2009 07:03 PM

and the parts for sale subforum was the best place for this?

and if you really like Charles the hourly UPS employee, I'd recommend editing out what you wrote.

Qckslvr 03-03-2009 07:43 PM

Seeing UPS once a day, and Fed-ex at least three times a day all I can say is they both suck. UPS has jacked up more parts shipped than Fed-Ex. Yet Fed-Ex has lost more parts than UPS. So really they both suck, the shipping industry needs a huge make over. You should see what Viking, Conway, and USF Redaway do to freight! At least twice a week we are filing shipping claims.

Heck one time the UPS guy dropped his can of Altoids. We didn't spot it till after he left. When we opened the can we discovered it was his little coke kit. And our previous driver before him was fired for DUI in the UPS truck.

I hope those bastards deliver my manifold unscathed tomorrow :(

i've heard from someone, not sure if its true or not, that a lot of FedEx delivery drivers (those in unmarked white panel vans especially) are contractors and not actually FedEx employees. Might this explain a thing or two?

I know one time a guy contracting as a cable guy came for a trouble call I had with comcast. Comcast had actually come out the previous day and fixed it. This contractor shows up at the door, unable to pronounce my roomate's last name (christensen). I asked him what the deal was and he said "I dont know, something about wires?" Awesome cable guy.

That is 100% true. And it applies To some ground and air services. Fed-Ex leases the route to a local individual. They provide the trucks, the vans, uniforms etc, at a fee. But in the end Fed-Ex does not own them, just subcontracts to them.

UPS also rents unmarked / Budget trucks during high volume periods (before xmas).

btw, it might be a good time to put some sharp objects in your lawn and order something fedex.

kotomile 03-03-2009 09:13 PM

DHL does it too, my friend used to do that for them. I drove him from Jax to Atlanta to pick up his van before he started.

The lawn thing would piss me off too. What's the matter with using the driveway? Are they that lazy?

Cody Strife 03-03-2009 10:43 PM

Yes exactly, Fedex Ground and Fedex Express are like two different entities, and I have never had problems out of Express, but damn these guys from Ground. And don't blame me, there was plenty of room for him to turn around, he just was in a rush and pulled right into the damn lawn, and well its been wet because of all the snow we had sunday morning...

No I had to get my Tractor and chain to pull his freaking van out the ruts he made...

I don't know, I just need to vent a little and Miataturbo seems like the excellent place to do it...
I wonder what these guys from Fedex Ground make an hr.

kotomile 03-03-2009 10:46 PM

I'd erect two signs. One would read, "This is my lawn" and would point toward the lawn. The other would read, "This is a driveway"...

Mach929 03-04-2009 10:04 AM

i dunno doesn't seem like a very big deal to me, :dunno:, are you going to sue fedex?

+1

mx5roadster 03-04-2009 12:05 PM

Your nicer than I would have been, I wouldn't have doen shit to help him get out. I agree that this isn't that big of a deal, it is kind of stupid though, it's really not that hard to use a driveway.

The big deal is clearly I have a usable driveway for these folks to turn around and instead they choose to pull into my lawn and get stuck, then I had to go to the trouble of getting my tractor out of the shop, rig the chain, and pull them out...

Very unprofessional... I mean, you just don't pull into someone's front yard...I mean okay, if there wasn't any driveway for him to turn around yeah, but clearly there was, and lots of it...

Ugh... You know why UPS rules the roost? Because they don't let stupid shit like this happen...

I won't say they did it cause they are lazy. No, they were in a hurry and should have just thought it through a little bit...

So if you invited someone to your house and they pulled onto your lawn, put ruts in your grass, and jeopardized your shit tank, you wouldn't mind?
