saw it last night...
thought it was cheezy as hell, even considering it is a movie based off an 80's cartoon, but got a few good laughs in there. "Bumble Bee, stop lubricating that man!"
fight scenes were bad *** BUT they made the robots look so complicated, and they moved so fast, sometimes it was hard to identify which robot was which. towards the end of the movie, they did some matrix-style slo-mo stuff that helped make it easier...
The sound effects and surround mix were pretty damn incredible. Excellent job with the surround processing.
The little 16 year old co-star was a little hottie. As soon as it's not statutory, I want to stick it in her.
I hadn't been to a movie in a long time. I forgot how much I hate going out to a full theater and dealing with all the morons and their cell phones. There was a foul smelling *** hole who sat down next to me, and kept answering calls, in Farci. And the 14 year old little princess in front of me with her constant texting on her large, super bright PDA. Bitches. I kept sticking my elbow in the moron next to me, harder each time he answered his phone. EVENTUALLY he got it.
I seriously can't wait until every house in America has its own private theater, with PPV access to new movies available through satellite download.

I dont know, I have mixed feelings about going and seeing this one.
I went to the theatre and saw the orginal Transformers Movie when it came out some time in the 80's. You know, where Optimus Prime gets killed, passes the Matrix on to Ultra Magnus(Robert Stack), then to Hot Rod, Megatron gets morphed into Galvatron(Mr Spock), Starscream gets smoked, and Unicron(Orson Wells) eats all of Cybertron's moons.
Best of all Jazz was still a Porsche 930.

I was in high school when the original Transformers came out and because of that, they will never be cool. They were what every bodies little brother was into. Generation gap.
My son is 12 now and is seriously into cars. We'll have to go see it next weekend. I'll keep my comments to myself.

Transformers was pretty damn sweet. Course that hot chick made it even better. I think I'd even take that over Jessica Alba! I have to admit, that Sky with the hardtop was pretty mean. I liked the older Camaro more, though. I wish I could remember more of the cartoon (was on tv when I was a little kid). I think some downloading is in order.

yeah. both. lets hope michael bay is only used as a consultant on the next one.
I bet the Wachowski brothers would have done something nice with it. if made it a little dark.
oh and check this: http://imdb.com/title/tt0811080/
