Get rid of gasoline?

Hey guys need some suggestions, how do i get rid of gasoline> I have about 3 gallons in my bike tank, but tank is already off so running it out isnt an option and putting it in my car isnt an option.. Ideas?

im not going to burn it because well i tried that i scared myself stupid.

Rage_Kage 01-12-2007 01:14 AM

-why cant you put it in your car?
-lawnmower
-sell it to friends
-make napalm (my favorite option)

Loki047 01-12-2007 03:05 AM

no lawnmoer, no friends want it, I cant because i dont have tubing.

I lit some of it on fire, but i guess the containter i was burning in had some oil in it... that was fun... but in other news i lit my back yard on fire.

Poor it in a neighbor's yard (one you dont like) in the shape of a penis.

3 gallons is alot to get rid of. I know most autoparts stores will take used oil and other fluids like that, gas burns, not sure why they wouldn't take that as well. Worth a try.

Pour a little each day into a flat pan and let it evaporate.

But, unless you want to make a political statement, don't smoke near the pan.

just put it in a bucket a light a match you city folks aint lived till you lost an eyebrow to a gasoline fire while burning brush etc. its a rush.

Braineack 01-12-2007 09:36 AM

pour it down a drain.

adbradley 01-12-2007 09:36 AM

if you have any weeds its a good way to get rid of them..

adbradley 01-12-2007 09:37 AM

brain, the people in the Environmental department would love to hear you say that!! We get paid thousands of dollars to do phase 1, 2, and 3 reports on people that do that!

Braineack 01-12-2007 09:46 AM

i shouldn't tell you what I do with my used oil then. ;)

and maybe they should figure out how to solve my problem of sitting in traffic for an hour and a half each day to travel 20 miles.

magnamx-5 01-12-2007 10:21 AM

true i still need to figure out where to take my used coolant the autoparts tores wont touch the stuff

Philip 01-12-2007 11:12 AM

coolant can be flushed down the sewer, meaning pour it down the drain or into the toilet and flush it.
NOT the storm drains though.

Philip 01-12-2007 11:13 AM

or, take it camping and use it to light a bonfire :eek3:

adbradley 01-12-2007 11:13 AM

ohh, used coolant, thats easy.. find a neighbor that has a troublesom dog or cat, and leave them each a lil bowl :)

Be a man, drink it.

y8s 01-12-2007 12:23 PM

duh: http://www.gasblender.com/

evaporating it is probably the least impact on the environment and definitely easiest. burning it in a CLEAN coffee can isn't too hard. it'll burn slowly.

or make a solvent tank.

y8s 01-12-2007 12:23 PM

wait, wtf am i thinking. sell it!

Ben 01-12-2007 07:18 PM

get a $2 plastic gas can.

I thought everyone from NJ just threw their garbage in the river?

Jefe 01-12-2007 07:37 PM

You can send the fuel to me, I'll just use it up in my tractor :)

In most places this is legal as long as it is a sewer drain (toilet/sink) and not a storm drain. Reason being that the stuff that's bad for the environment will be dealt with at the treatment plant. Here we just dump anti-freeze in the toilet. I personally would hang on to gasoline, tubing is cheaper than a gallon of fuel.

Trent 01-12-2007 08:55 PM

Do you have any bees that need to be taken out?
