gmail spam issue
How do I stop gmail from sending all my Mt.net emails to the spam folder?
|
Go into the message and click "Not Spam". I'm not positive this will create a rule to not send them to spam anymore, but I'm pretty sure if you do it enough it will learn.
|
I would think that if yo go into the Spam folder, check the box to the left of one of the messages, and hit the "Not Spam" button that appears at the top, that Gmail would learn your preference here. Have you already done this?
EDIT: the correct solution is to add the sender to your contacts list. Incoming email from a contact is never marked as spam. |
I check one message, but now only messages for that thread come through. Ill try it with a bunch too see if it learns. Ill also try the contact addition as well.

you get emails from mt?
turn that ---- off |
It appears this has been solved, so I am going to threadjack.
I got a weird email. There is no attachment or anything, no information request. Which is whats messing with me, if its spam then where is the spam? I am expecting a package, but it shouldnt be very big and I dont believe its been shipped yet. In the original email, do any links redirect to a location other than the obvious one? Eg, if you click on the status_item@usps.com link, does it redirect to someplace other than usps.com? |
No, its not normally clickable, it only is there because I copy and pasted it here. That is the entire email. No links, no unsubscribe at the bottom, nothing. Thats why Im second guessing it.
