Try not to suck at football while you're there.

Don't drink the water, don't swim in the ocean, a lake, or a river, and always wear a condom because even though she looks young and sweet she's not clean and soap won''t wash it off. And it doesn't matter what you ordered, if it isn't seafood it's really dog. Get a suit tailored when you are there.

Don't become a Starcraft nerd. Koreans take that shit seriously!

She is really a dude.

I tried to find dog while i was there, wanted to try it out. Apparently, they've been westernized enough that they generally find it distasteful.

The 'drinking girls' aren't going to go home with you, but they are more than happy to take your money.

Get a suit or 3 tailored when you are there.

QFT! Especially on water, swimming, and condoms. Dog is good... Believe the hype.

I would guess it is just cheap to have a suit tailored suit out of good materials, but I have never been there so I am talking out my ass.

Order the Galbi w/ Kimchi (or Gimchi). Quingdao beer is good, although imported from China. If you want Korean beer - OB Lager or Hite, then you can move on to Sojo. If you are buying from a Korean business, then the K-TV girls will go home w/ you (but again be careful as is the case w/ any paid women). You can always hit the western chain restaurant when you are tired of the local food (which you don't always have the luxury of doing in other areas of Asia). I only ate beef, pork and chicken as I was the customer and decided I would not subject myself to foods I did not want if I was ultimately the party shelling out the $$. Now if you are selling to them, I would advise you eat and do what ever they want you to, and bring along a strong antibiotic prescription just in case.

If you are just visiting for fun and not business, then just do as you please and use common sense.

This is very true as I just got back from a business trip from there... One guy didn't believe the water would hurt him. He found out the hard way that he was wrong.

+1 on visiting a tailor. 2 suits, 4 shirts and 8 ties; suits/shirts custom fit from my selection of fabrics - $200.00

+1 on avoiding the "Juicy Girls". They usually are white-slavery Russian girls.

To find "kaegogi" vice "bulgogi" find a local GI married to a Korean. Make friends. Be polite. During a soju binge, ask about a "traditional dinner". - I made friends with the local Harley dealer. When he invited me out to dinner, it was a 1-1/2 hour drive into the "country" to a back alley restaurant. 'twas an experience...

First and Foremost stay the hell away from the Military women! if you dont your penis will fall off. The STD rate on military posts there is stagering its roughly 3 of every 5 females have some sort of creepy crawler that looks like the picture below and will chomp your shit straight off!

Your best bet is make friends with the KATUSA soldiers even though they appear to be extremely gay which is quite possible they are the hook ups to all the great places to go.

GET A PASSPORT! If you try to get into a club with a military ID or drivers license they will not let you in(the good clubs that is)

Stay away and by away I mean at least an three train stations away from any military installation and drink and local bars on the economy.

Stay away from the Hongdae University Area and clubs as they are off limits to military personell but military people do go there. What this causes is, 1. CID to patrol in civilian attire and 2. Because of number 1 if you see an American your either going to get your ass beat because they think your CID or they are CID and your going to jail at Yongsan Garrison.

Do go to Gangnam-gu and within Gangnam-gu is a place called Apgujeong this is where the most beautiful women in asia hang out and drink also it is not uncommon to see foriegners so your not as likely to get your ass beat.

And last but not least LEARN THE BUS/SUBWAY LINES!!!!!!!

There is tons more but if you want more info just pm and I can get you the info you may require.
