RANT: GV Lip is not for NB
Well, I'm finishing up my V8 car this week. Been installing side skirts and went to put on my new Garage Vary lip that I bought from someone on here a long time ago. I don't even remember who. It was supposed to be for an NB.
Anyway, had it painted when the car was painted. Went to install and it is definitely not an NB lip. Not even close to fitting.
So, anyone interested in a brand new, never installed Garage Vary lip for an NA?
It's beautifully painted in factory Titanium.
$200 shipped.
I'm guessing a new Touge Run NB lip is my best replacement option? GV didn't seem to be in stock anywhere for an NB.

I have the paperwork and instructions although they are in Japanese. They call it an NB1 or NB10 Wind Dancer on the paperwork. I took that as first gen NB but I must be incorrect. It must be 01+.
That actually helps if I try to sell it as there are some titanium cars out there. Virtually none 99-00 unless they painted like me.
Might have to find someone here to list it on CR for me. I'm not a member there but someone should be interested in my madtyteyo JDM part.
I can get real pics. Here is what someone took yesterday when they visited. I should update my work log.

The winding dancer was a different kit, it replaced the whole front bumper. So maybe it's the wrong manual or it's general one that has instructions for a few different products. *shrug* It's definitely a NB lip. Couple pics of a NB1 lip, not sure if this helps any.

Maybe the seller received the NB2 lip and never knew it. Since I'm bored and know how to use the search feature here's the thread where you bought it https://www.miataturbo.net/general-miata-chat-9/gv-nb-lip-44732/

Thanks for the help. The bag that the paperwork and hardware came in is marked NB1. The instructions say NB10 at the top and winding dancer.
Reading the ad where I bought it and the fact that the hardware bag says NB1 tells me it should fit but it isn't even close. I'm thinking the original seller/store sold it as an NB1 by mistake and tanner sold it to me as an NB1 as that was what he bought but never used so had no reason to doubt it. I'll get some detail pics and compare to those two photos that are in the RSpeed ad and figure it out.

It's already wrapped up and put away on the shelf. Say the word and it's yours. You can't beat the price.
