got about an hours worth of work done on the FD
Had the heads off already and the new heads came in, cam was in already, new valve springs were already in the LS6 heads, so I bolted the new heads on and reassembled the valve train with new rods. Sure wish the mounts were here so I could make real progress.... :td:
OH and I completely stripped the wiring harness off to send out to be modded, decided I didn't want to fuck with it. |
fuck yo pics.

I do not believe they did.
and considering the heads were $500, there is no better option. These have been decked to true them with new seats/seals and the geometry checked at the machine shop. the LS6 heads also have sodium filled valves. |
Philip, you should get as much done as you can before it starts to snow and the temp drops to freezing.

$500 bucks is a steal for those heads. What cam are you going with? There are some really bad ass cams from texas speed, like their magic stick cams. They say that the springs re good to like .575" lift, but my old boss and I found that they started to bind at about .56". That motor also revved to 7000rpm, so that was really the problem. Good steal though.
