GRE what a Fing Rip off
$140 bucks :td: for a stupid test. + application fee for grad school $35 = 175 for pure BS paperwork.
Oh well guess i better study for it. Take it on Saturday. And I was going to buy a new bed and some stuff. OH well. |
I am just finishing up my MBA and the GMAT alone was like $250. Somone somewhere is making some serious coin.
Dunno about the GRE but if its like the GMAT it isn't too bad. Just go through the practice exams and make sure you can do all the problems on them. Goodluck man. |
the GMAT is a weighted test so if you nail the first 5 questions or so it puts you up at a higher level, therefore those are more important.

The computer-based GRE is similar, in that questions are chosen dependent on performance from previous questions, and the score moves relative to the difficulty of question being asked. I believe a paper-based GRE is still available, however, where the score is more traditional and based on overall performance.

I just took it a month ago. It was tougher than I expected. Then again, I didn't study and I haven't taken math in 6 years. At least read one of the books about the tricks to narrowing down your answer choices. I got into my school though!!! Now to pay for it.....
