Welp, I sold the Miata and bought a track bike. Sold the car on Good Friday and picked up the track bike on Easter. It's a 2003 R6 with ~6000 track-only miles on it and a few championships under its belt. Stock engine, Power Commander, full Ti Graves exhaust with Ti Yoshimura muffler, Hyperpro shock, Ohlins compression adjusters in front (not sure which springs are in the forks) and a few spares. The new owner already took the car out to its first trackday, so he's definitely enjoying it. Now I just gotta get a decent summer internship so I can afford plenty of tires and trackdays (and eventually a racing license) for myself.

I love you all. Without the Miata I'm now just a guy in a tight leather suit.

Well, at least with a bike instead of a Miata, you are tight again. GL with the bike.

Just because you sell the Miata you can't undo the gayness. Congrats on the change. I wish I had more on road bike experience and felt comfortable enough to buy a good bike. Hope you stick around and at least hang out with the rest of us gay guys.
