The greatest miata exhaust!!!

I put this in the BS section instead of the FS section because I really hope that nobody considers buying this thing.

what do you expect for one junior cheeseburger?

Scuba_Steve 01-09-2008 08:09 PM

This is exactly why I don't even waste my time with Craiglist. IMO it is a dumping ground for crap no one wants to buy. Of course there are exceptions, but my time is worth more than that.

Braineack 01-09-2008 08:11 PM

i dunno. its been pretty success for random things here. and good for a laugh like that.

You are missing out if you ignore craigslist. I've scored some excellent deals on parts and I found both of my miatas on craigslist.

teknikscian 01-09-2008 08:26 PM

craigslist is great for deals, just have to sift through the junk...

mazda/nissan 01-09-2008 08:30 PM

around these parts there is nothing on craigslist

Zabac 01-09-2008 08:32 PM

saw a $4000 94 miata with 155K miles on it posted in the charlotte area, smokingcrack

Braineack 01-09-2008 08:33 PM

For small shit, it's a disaster, but I found my Miata and sold a minivan, my dad's Rx7, and our box trailer all on CL. Sold the minivan in like 11 hours.

Stein 01-09-2008 10:31 PM

What did he weld that thing with? Silly String??

chriscar 01-09-2008 10:34 PM

I'm shopping for a Miata as we speak, and was frustrated as hell at the not being able to search multiple regions (Mr. Craigslist wants to keep it local, bla bla) until I found this little beauty.

It only works with Firefox, and you need to modify the value of network.http.sendRefererHeader to 0 or 1.

I use that from time to time. The only thing I have ever bought on CL has been the Miata I am using on my trailer project:
http://www.lightweightmiata.com/trailer/trailer.htm

It was advertised for $300 but I paid $400 for it (price mysteriously went up $100 <G>). I cut the car in half, pulled the front hubs/spindles/radiator/fans and sold the front end, the broken tranny, the rear subframe, and another broken tranny I had from another car for $680. Sold the radiator for $80 and the fans for $50. So, I guess CL did good by me on that one (made $410 on it so far AND got a free rear half of a Miata to play with).
