Wasn't there something about this same thing happening in the new camaro as well. I remember seeing a picture with a very similar story. They said it had something to do with the car sensing a rollover or something. Too many lateral G's equal GM fail.

So basically the car is capable of pulling so many G's that it thinks it's being hit by another car. They should probably fix that issue.

I can see the lawsuit: Guy takes a corner too fast, air bags go off, he crashes, and the airbags are already deployed (and can't very well go off twice) so he nearly dies and sues GM from his wheelchair. That would actually probably be a legitimate lawsuit.

mine doesn't have a g-meter but my dad's does. I don't think I ever look at the HUD.
