I'll still pick my copy up because when I go back to work it will be Halo-Clock all the time.

 

Beat the campaign already, we only played on heroic but it was mildly challenging. Oddly I'm better at Live than I am at campaign...I did some multiplayer and it's pretty damn fun with the better graphics and new guns.

I'm sitting here all ******* shaking and **** to get home and play.
I was supposed to fly this morning and be done by now but my plane broke. Now I'm waiting for it to be fixed, then fly, then probably something else will come up and ****!!!!!!!!

I hope it's not as bad as RMC is saying. The story in Wired said it was way better than 1 or 2. Either way, I'll be online in a week or so... then we'll see what they've come up with.

 

I haven't opened mine yet. I'm going to wait for my buddy/clanmate to get off work tonight, and I'll pop my H3 cherry with multiplayer on Live.

Rob said he thinks it sucked, but the recent on-line reviews have been glowing.

Sorry to break it to you Sam, but Wired has been notoriously wrong in its predictions. A friend of my sis did an analysis and it was pretty bad. I wish I could find the article but it's lost to the internets. I'll ask her.

WalMart's was blasting the radio with their commercial saying lots of copies, no lines, extra dedicated halo3 check out registers, etc

 

I was playing Halo 1 a couple of days ago and my roommate walked in, saw one gun on the screen, and said "Whoa. I didn't know Halo could be played one-player. I thought it was all multi-player."

 

thats the sad part, as a college kid at home i need a game that puts the campaign first because rarely do i have anyone over for multiplayer and i can't seem to get obsessed over halo anymore

 

Went with a friend and picked up a copy last night and previewed both the campaign and online. Campaign looks good visually, havent played enough to really review it. Online with 16 players is really what is fun. Got my copy this morning at Sam's Club and will be on tonight... Gamertag is Tremor2k

 

My wife wandered in to the BX and picked me up a tax free copy, I like it so far. I have not bothered with multi player yet
