I have this one:
Steel Service Cart - 24" x 36" It's not quite as sturdy as the huge poly cart I posted about a few pages back, but it is very nice. There was a super coupon a few months ago, and I got it for ~$40. That coupon you posted is too good to pass up though. Get it. |

HF newb here. Can I just print out the coupons from monks signature site?
And get all the free shit too? I don't even go through that trouble though. I just read them the coupon number at checkout. |
Damn now I want that bigger cart. I might have to wait.
Maybe I'll just use the %20 off on the bigger cart. 24x36 is a lot more space. |
http://www.harborfreight.com/large-s...wer-90428.html Nvm this one is only 30x16. |

ok perfect. Going today to get:
Straight edge, service cart, ear muffs, some more random wrenches and screw drivers. |
Google lied about their hours. So I got nothing.

Speaking of carts- AV/Media carts on CL are a bargain for multi-shelf shop carts OR welding carts. They're well built, very sturdy (likely because of the value of the equipment carried) and have quality casters to support the weight of the equipment and weight of the person pushing it. And some even have a power strip. $50 example:

Anybody have the smallest steel service cart. $40 I think?
I need a roll around table for projects. I flipped the top tray upside down when assembling, and mounted an MFB board to it as a table top. To that I mounted a vise, grinder and sander. Bottom carries a bunch of tools, clamps and shit. I think I'm going to add a steel sheet to the top for a welding table for small stuff. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1447784783 I like the media cart idea for welders. I already have carts for mig and tig, but need to do something with my plasma... |
Which shop crane should I get? The main difference between the 1 ton and 2 ton they sell (aside from the weight) is the arm length and lifting height. Any issues with reach using the 1 ton?

get the longest strongest. you never know when you'll find yourself lifting the unibody of an AWD celica high enough to drag the drivetrain out from under it.

They use a lot of air

I also have it and love it.
It's a nice size and plenty stronk. |
+1 for stronk tools.
In other new, this seems like a good deal: Husky 8 Gal. Compressor for $80. I like that it is oil lubricated. Price beats HF for what is probably the same unit. |

This is one of the few air tools that are worth it. Mine is starting to go out (I'll probably return it), but it will actually remove stubbornaments bolts. I bought the cheaper one first and it was garbage. My electric 1/4" impact had more torque. Just keep the pressure up at the tool when using this tool. It doesn't take much air pressure drop to render it useless. I have come to the realization that harbor fright air tools are rarely worth it. They can be good, but it is random whether it falls apart in your hands (die grinder) or just never has the power to do its intended function (right angle drill). |
