Ok, here's another plug for the Front Wheel Bearing Adapter tool. Definitely a win. Just be sure and grease the threads and washers, and don't use an impact when tightening. With the 25% off coupon, it's $90. All the asshole shops in my area wanted ridiculous money to R&R a bearing and hub, even if the entire knuckle was removed and handed to them loose. I'll always take owning the tool forever over paying someone more to do the job for me on a one-shot.

What does that do and how

It's a bearing press, you put a cup on one side, thread the bolt through, spacer/washer on the other end. Tighten bolt and it pulls the bearing out.

Air is not the way to go. The one I have I think may be a slightly older model. Mine is orange, not red. Not sure if there are any differences. I picked mine up sometime in 2009. I have no clue if it hits the 250ft/lbs it claims, but there have been very few bolts I have not been able to get with it on a miata. Usually it is a super rusted bolt that needs to be cut, or I can't get a good angle on the nut/bolt. It has never had an issue taking off axle nuts, which I think is one of the highest torqued nut on the car. I would highly recommend this impact gun. Pick up some HF impact sockets while you are there. They also work great. I think I have cracked one in a 6 year span, far more likely to loose them to break them.

That impact is great for the price. It takes hub nuts without needing to hammer out the detent. I don't think you will find any tighter bolts on the car.

It is LOUD. I open my mouth while using it indoors. Hearing protection would probably be a good option.

The cordless impacts from harbor freight are junk. For cordless I would stick to ingersoll-rand, milwaukee, or dewalt. The HF 1/4 impact drivers are kind of nice to have since you can use them to speed up assembly without worrying about over torquing anything.

Which one do you have?

I got this torch to start my smoker, and I'm thoroughly impressed. It's genuinely pretty violent. And for 25% of $31.99 it's a solid buy, if or no other reason than the novelty. :firedevil

I got one of those too. I use it to cook the weeds out of the cracks between the driveway paving stones (when I have forgotten to Round-Up in advance). Works like a charm, and yes, it is pretty damn violent . . . and fun. The sounds alone are priceless; makes the dogs run for their lives. :giggle:

I also have the torch. It's great for getting campfires going. I originally bought it to melt tar between the cracks in my driveway, which it did great.

I'm almost positive it's the one posted above.
