Exclamation HELP us KILL V8's

I have the MIATATURBO.NET stickers. That is a start! I think they are good for 50 HP!

OUR GOAL is CHEAP! FAST! DEPENDABLE! AND to spank his dads Duramax Turbo! And My brothers Mark VIII 32V Cobra motor, with gears etc. etc.
This is straight budget and a challenge (FUN).

My little brother and my cousin where born within 24hrs of each other. He baought my 91 Miata. But brother just got a mark VIII & is always showing off and TALKING SMAC!
And Tylers dad Is always making fun of the power of the miata.

Solution Turbo!..........................One weekend build, and never let them know it is COMING!

I have a TD04 that needs a rebuild. (If it can be rebuilt) A greddy down pipe.

Or a Cast Ebay Mani for a T25/28.

He is using his Graduation money to produce a SWEET VENDETTA for his dad's wicked Dually and the rival V8 32V.

We will post pictures tommorow to keep an update.

IF YOU HAVE ANY USED PARTS LAYING AROUND THAT YOU WANT TO SELL OR GET RID OF that could help me get a kit together.(Or even a kit! Ya) Please pm me or text 214-223-7577.

Wait a second... Clarify something for me...

Are we talking about a Mustang Cobra, or a Lincoln Mark VIII with a "Cobra motor" in it?? Theres a BIG difference... About 700 pounds, PLUS..

The 32V motor was so impressive in the Mark VIII, that Ford changed the cams and threw it in the mustang.

I'm sure they beefed up somethings, but the horsepower differance is not much. And DM said the 93 mark VIII blocks where good for 1000hp. (not the internals, but if built and blown correctly)
But in the later years they lightened up the blocks.

It will be close, but I think we can do it!

I wish......

Bare minimals...... I'm hoping to get a greddy mani, ebay intercooler. 305+ cc injectors, bipes, Adjustable FMU.

Or even a base Greddy kit. This is going to be a garage sale special.

I think If I enlarge the mid pipe and make another home grown ricer exhaust we can make it happen.

One week on the cheap and you just need to dragrace?

I'd pickup a used bottle setup and spray the **** out of it.

You could always incorporate it later into a turbo build.

How do you know he didn't mean a NOS brand nitrous kit?

If I had some parts, I would let you have them, but I have none. At least none useful.

why don't you just sit in the passenger seat of my car and run them both? I've had no problem running over blown cobras on the highway.

Everytime I see this thread title I think: "Why? Y8s is a pretty cool guy."

IF I had anything to donate I would. I can't think of a single extra part I have that would even be worth shipping.

That's funny!

Yea the kit is NOS name brand.

I appreciate the help for Nitrous. But I think the motor might hold up longer with the turbo done right. And he could have power withour having to fill the bottle up.
