Here are some pics from the recent Arkansas tornado

This tornado was really gnarly. I entered from the perspective that it couldn't be as bad as Moore, Ok last year, but I was pretty shocked. I worked from Monday through Thursday, taking Wednesday off to work the chainsaw for a little bit.
http://imgur.com/a/SiM38 I wish this picture did the extent of the damage justic: https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1399062303 About 15 houses on this strip were rubble. You can't see it in the pic, but the trees are felled different directions on each side of the houses here, demonstrating a direct hit by the tornado. Interesting to me, this is precisely where it started, the very first broken tree from the tornado is at my feet: https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1399062303 Almost every standing garage in this neighborhood had the garage door "popped-out" from the pressure drop. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1399062303 This is not the most impressive damage, because there's something left, but it's probably the most gnarly single spot in Mayflower. I met the family living here who bought a safe-room through the rebate program I manage and everyone, including their pets, survived. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1399062303 |
Come visit more often, preferably not accompanied by a disaster. Will says you owe him $20 for the plug change.
