Hes gonna be a millionaire. :bowrofl:

NA6C-Guy 11-30-2009 11:49 PM

The thing I don't like about these kinds of videos, no not because they are reposts, but because I can't tell if they are serious or not. Surely this stupid motherfucker doesn't actually think that is a good idea he has. Then again I know there are a lot of people this stupid, so it's also possible. Either way, I hope he wrecks it when he goes for a test drive.

jayc72 11-30-2009 11:55 PM

I was hoping as soon as the car started the filter would have collapsed and been eaten by the car. POOF!

NastyNate 11-30-2009 11:57 PM

Where do these people come from???

jayc72 12-01-2009 12:00 AM

Ha, he's Canadian. Figures.

You jest, but I saw that happen to a Ford turbodiesel engine w/ a Fram air filter, which was backed by a thin wire mesh. Needless to say, the compressor wheel did not benefit from the experience.

(Also, embedding fail. Fixed that for you.)

It's times like these I wish my horn worked.

So THAT is where the K&N development department site is!

gospeed81 12-01-2009 07:02 AM

I imagine he didn't take it for a test drive yet as I imagine it doesn't run too well with that MAF fail going on.

miataspeed2005 12-01-2009 08:01 AM

I was just going to say it! lol

I think he's dead serious honestly. Just because he knows what an intake manifold is doesn't mean he's an actual enthusiast making a funny video. He's some back country fuck in Canada that makes home made air cleaners for ford tempos.

We should try and see if he'll start making them for turbo miatas. Tell him there's a big market for these and he could profit big time. :)

m2cupcar 12-01-2009 08:59 AM

Note to self: Avoid KEMKO products.

icantthink4155 12-01-2009 12:53 PM

I had a 93 topaz. That car has a massive engine, that makes absolutely no power what-so-ever. Its a shitty 4 cylinder boat.

ismael_pt 12-01-2009 01:39 PM

Filter don't hit block?

levnubhin 12-01-2009 02:02 PM

"I ran out of glue sticks so I used tape."

Facepalm.

elderc 12-01-2009 02:17 PM

Next time use "Black" Duct tape on your K&N build, it will match better. LOL.
:giggle:

TurboTim 12-01-2009 03:19 PM

We don't need no stinkin MAF.

flydaddyskidz 12-01-2009 03:31 PM

What an idiot

Damn, at first glance I thought he stole my idea. My shop vac filter sounded much better...LOL

Seriously, I just put a new AFE intake and filter on my Dodge Diesel and it sounds like a fucking F-16, Awesome

I think you're giving Hyper too much credit. This (in a manner of speaking) is at least functional. It's not like he tried to re-route his exhaust into his intake.
(and before anyone says anything, yes, I'm fully aware of how an EGR functions :fawk:)
