Is it that fucking difficult to park a fucking car? They did not leave a note, although someone did get the plate #. I doubt anything will happen though. My other car has been hit 8 times when parked, with no notes of course. This is the first time for my miata. What an awesome birthday gift.

dude, u have there plate number, try to get there address and really fuck with them. Im sure there is some web site that will get you someones address from there plate number for a small fee :)

If the person who got the plate number will stand up for you, call the cops and go for his insurance co. You can get fixed and he can pay higher premiums for a few years.

if someone got the plate # it should pan out, happened to my buddy twice that way and both times the police and insurance worked to get payment.

I got rear-ended yesterday morning at 4am while sitting at a stoplight waiting for it to turn green in my 06 Chevy HHR. And I was the only car at the light, in the middle lane of a 3 lane wide road. Some fucker in a 95 Bonneville "didn't notice" my car and just slammed the brakes and nailed me.

When he got out of the car the first thing I saw was his cock-eyed hat and GOLD teeth and I think "wonder if this ignorant fuck even has insurance" :rollseyes: Good thing is it only screwed up the bumper on my car but damn near totaled his! hahaha

the police were called 7 hours ago. I'm just going to get this fucker's address and go kill him.

I'm going to be so fucking pissed if I have to get this car painted again...the paint is only 6 months old.

So it looks like even with a video, eye witness, and plate number, the Oklahoma City police do not care. Since its out of state what should I do next? I was thinking about calling and threatening the guy with giving me $500, or I call the police and press charges on the hit and run. Any other ideas.

if the city cops don't care... call the state cops. you can also go to the local court house and file charges. you will need the witnesses ID and contact info as well as this dudes plate number and vehicle description.

here's one for ya- My buddy was driving my Miata to get some break-in miles on the clutch. Sitting at a light waiting to make a right hand turn on red, the cube van behind him just starts accerlating and runs into my car, pushing him while his foot was on the brakes! Then the guy looks forward and realizes what he's doing! Doh! Driving forward w/o looking where you're going- that's how people do it. :vash:

I have a habit of waiting beside large vehicles which are parked over the lines of the space just to tell the owner that they shouldn't drive a vehicle if they can't even park it correctly. I hate it when two trucks park on either side of me both angled toward me... I can usually get back out with 1/4" to spare, but sometime I'm stuck till one of them returns. Some asshole with a black GMC in MI needs a new rear fender thanks to that... and my steel toes.
