Default how long for gasoline to "turn"?

I've had gas in my jetta for a year since it has no trans. Do I need to drain the tank and flush the lines?

I wouldn't. I'd add a couple bottles of heet and run it bone dry before the next fillup.

Was the tank completely full? If so, I'd bet that it will be just fine.
